Mr Shaakaa Kanyitor Chira is the Auditor-General for the Federation, Nigeria effective 20 October, 2023 by his appointment by the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Mr Chira was born on 12 February, 1968 and hails from Donga Local Government Area of Taraba state, Nigeria.
He holds a Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Public Sector Accounting as well as a Master in Business Administration (MBA).
He is a Fellow, Association of National Accountant of Nigeria - FCNA. Member, Computer Forensics Institute. Nigeria - MCFI. Member Chartered Institute of Taxation ACTI.
